Our partner is a distributor of IT and Telecom products and services in the Benelux and France.

The company handles the indirect sales and marketing for major brands and manufacturers in the market. They purchase products, software and consumer goods from major players such as Microsoft, HP, Apple, etc. and distribute that, making it an indirect sales channel. Copaco sells those IT and telecom products to 2,500 resellers. The resellers operate both in the consumer market e.g. Fnac, Mediamarkt and bol.com but also in the corporate market.

Where will you work?

In this role, you will join the organisation’s Cybersecurity team. You will advise clients around their Cysbersecurity issues or opportunities. In doing so, you build long-term relationships with your clients, advising them with the sincere intention of helping them. In short, this is a consultative sales role: you listen to your client’s needs, make a proposal for optimisation and conclude the sales process with a contract proposal. You don’t have to be an IT expert yet, the organisation will give you extensive training and education during your onboarding process. However, a healthy IT affinity and interest is a must. 

What will your job look like? In this role, you will be responsible for selling Cybersecurity solutions mainly from WatchGuard and SonicWall. You will do this not only by handling customer enquiries and quotation requests via mail/phone but also approach customers by phone in a proactive approach. Your role is crucial in converting quotations into an agreement. You will work in a fun and dynamic specialist team with several sales colleagues, a product manager and an account manager. Through training and your own expertise, you develop yourself as a strong added value for the customers. In this way, as Internal Expert Sales, you build lasting relationships based on knowledge, trust and quality towards our customers and manufacturers. 

From this role, you can advance to an expert role where you take on customers/projects with high complexity, you can also advance to an external sales role where you physically visit customers or you can advance diagonally to a role as Product Manager or Go-To-Market Manager.
