What will you do?
In this IT Traineeship, you are trained to become a strong IT professional by means of internal and external training courses combined with thorough coaching. You get to know all kinds of technologies and discover which aspect suits you best: functional analysis, technical (e.g. software development, data) or a combination of both. Together with about 100 colleagues in the IT team, you work on their own developed core banking system. This involves the client/server part as well as the web and mobile applications. As an IT colleague, you are all-round: you work both technically and functionally, you take charge of the project coordination, you spend time with end users to gauge their needs and you map out processes together with them.
What is unique about this IT traineeship? They looks primarily at the potential of your IT skills, not your demonstrated experience. A passion for technology is a must; your knowledge is honed by their in-house expertise, supplemented by training courses. Are you graduating soon and have no IT experience yet? Are you a PhD student (any specialisation: IT, psychology, history, physics, …) with an interest in IT? Your passion and good sense of humour count, you will learn the rest in the IT Traineeship.

Where will you work?
Our partner is a bank for entrepreneurs and the liberal professions. They look at the bigger picture for their clients: professional and private. Consequently, their activities are at the interface of private and corporate banking.
In terms of corporate culture, they are not comparable to other banks: an entrepreneurial & hands-on mentality, room for input from everyone, a collegial atmosphere and a good balance between autonomy and learning opportunities. They also develop all their core banking systems theirself, no outsourcing. This is possible because they have a strong IT department of 100 IT experts.
They won the Great Place to Work award several times in a row. In short, a human organisation that actively supports employees to reach their full potential.
