What will you do?

As part of their international growth strategy, you will play a key role inside the Business Development team responsible for the execution and day-to-day management of acquisition, divestment, merger processes, as well as for pursuing specific business development opportunities. These projects generally have an international dimension and involve setting up a specific cross-functional project team, in which this company is usually assisted by an investment bank and by expert advisors. As an International Business Developer, you contribute to the growth strategy by leading and coordinating M&A transactions from start to completion. You identify and pursue business development opportunities and create long-term partnerships to strengthen our strategic positions outside Europe.

Your responsibilities:

Market analysis
You ensure a thorough and continuous understanding of the dynamics, potential and opportunities of the target markets

You identify the main drivers and barriers to market developments

You identify key stakeholders
Market development and scouting activities
You initiate discussions with stakeholders and potential partners with the aim of market development and/or collaboration or co-investment

You negotiate cooperation agreements
Business Development

You manage business development projects from the initial idea to the final implementation:
You identify and launch new business development projects

You prepare business cases and in-depth risks analysis

You prepare the internal decision-making process

You participate in the establishment of cross-functional project teams and the selection of expert advisors

You coordinate with the internal departments involved in the project and external advisors

You are responsible for implementing and monitoring projects and for reporting on them
