What will you do?
As an Energy Transmission Engineer, you are at the heart of gas supply security for domestic and industrial customers in Belgium. You also manage flows to neighbouring countries with the Belgium’s facilities.
Finally, you actively contribute to the energy and climate transition by preparing operations for future CO2 and hydrogen transmission in the grid of this company.
Their Belgium’s control room in Brussels is the nerve centre within the company, like the control tower of an airport. Here, the engineers monitor and control all gas flows on the grid 24 hours a day. The position as Energy Transmission Engineer is therefore a very responsible position, in which you will work in a three-shift system.
After intensive training combining theory with practice, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing and coordinating gas transmission throughout Belgium. You will be in constant contact with several internal and external partners and act as a pivotal figure.
You will also take part in various projects aimed at increasing the quality of Fluxys’ activities. On the other hand, you support the company in its ambitions regarding energy transition and digitalisation.
