What will you do?
We are looking for a new colleague to join the Products Belgium Tribe as a Product Owner. You will work in a team in Antwerp with developers focused on payroll and accountancy-related software and processes. As a Product Owner, you will define and prioritize requirements in the squad backlog and accept requirements as completed, balancing good and sustainable lifecycle management (e.g., technical sustainability, performance, reliability). The team is responsible for applications that play a crucial role in our SME offerings for accountants and business leaders.
Your main responsibilities include overseeing the products and their technical health and stability, defining and prioritizing product requirements in the product backlog with the team, and ensuring smooth and compliant operational payroll processes (e.g., annual Belcotax declaration). You will collaborate with other Product Owners on common prioritization and release planning for legal changes, write user stories with acceptance criteria alongside team specialists, and be willing to conduct functional analysis when necessary.
You will continuously seek feedback from stakeholders, including customers and business representatives, to prioritize product improvements and understand business requirements. Additionally, you will manage the release scope, considering available resources and business priorities, define the vision (in collaboration with Portfolio, Business Development Manager, and Product Manager), determine an agile development approach to deliver the product, and approve delivered features.
