What will you do?
As a Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager you are responsible for developing and executing strategies to bring a product or service to market successfully. The role involves coordinating various aspects of the business, marketing, and sales efforts to ensure a cohesive and effective launch. Specifically, you will be responsible for launching a gaming product line. Our partner aims to become the number one in gaming products and assesoires. They are looking for someone to help realise this ambition.
Some of your tasks include:
-Market Analysis: Conducting thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and industry trends. This analysis helps in developing a strategy that aligns with market demands.
-Strategic Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. This includes defining target audiences, positioning, pricing, and distribution channels.
-Product Launch Planning: Developing detailed plans for the launch of a new product or service. This involves coordinating activities across different departments, such as marketing, sales, and product development.
-Messaging and Positioning: Crafting compelling messaging and positioning statements that resonate with the target audience. Ensuring consistency in communication across various marketing and sales channels.
-Channel Strategy: Determining the most effective distribution channels for the product. This could involve partnerships, alliances, or direct-to-consumer approaches.
-Metrics and Analytics: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the go-to-market strategy. Analyzing data to make informed decisions and optimize future strategies.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with teams such as product development, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure a coordinated and successful product launch.

Our partner is a distributor of IT and Telecom products and services in the Benelux and France.
The company handles the indirect sales and marketing for major brands and manufacturers in the market. They purchase products, software and consumer goods from major players such as Microsoft, HP, Apple, etc. and distribute that, making it an indirect sales channel. Copaco sells those IT and telecom products to 2,500 resellers. The resellers operate both in the consumer market e.g. Fnac, Mediamarkt and bol.com but also in the corporate market.
