What will you do?
DPG reaches over 90% of Dutch people and 8 out of 10 Flemish people every month. Within Finance, they form one team together with their Dutch colleagues, based in Hoofddorp. The Finance department of DPG Media in Belgium is located in the brand new building on the Mediaplein in Antwerp, behind the Central Station.
To strengthen this team they are looking for a hands-on General Ledger accountant.
Some of your duties include:
Monitoring and reviewing a number of balance sheet accounts assigned to you;
Perform timely account reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts assigned to you;
Processing and follow-up of the invoices and commissions to be received;
Point of contact and contribution to the plan and control cycle for business controllers.
Furthermore, you are also responsible for the partial preparation of the financial statements and supervising the audit for your assigned units. Finally, you strive for continuous improvement of our financial business processes.
