What will you do?

Fluxys is boosting its digital transformation and one of the initiatives is setting up a Digital Lounge. This Digital Lounge will innovatively bring digital products to market in the form of Minimal Viable Products. These can range from using artificial intelligence to improve the operations over developing an app to enhance the interface with the customers to deploying virtual reality to train their teams. To this end, Fluxys will bring together people from different backgrounds in this Digital Lounge who we will guide with agile and design thinking methodologies. These colleagues will then make the successful products live on outside the Digital Lounge.

For the Digital Lounge, they are still looking for a Data Scientist, who will be part of a team that brings Minimum Viable products to the market or organisation in a short period of time. Here, under the leadership of the product owner, the team is responsible for focusing on the problem definition and developing a relevant solution. 

You work closely with the team from Fluxys’ Smart Data factory (Data Lake) to source the data. In doing so, you use the data in the Smart Data Factory or ensure that the additional data sources are integrated into the Smart Data Factory.

You will therefore work closely with the Smart Data Factory team to further develop this initiative (governance model, access rights, technology, data mining and structuring)

You are responsible for analysing the data needs of a Minimum Viable product, translating them into specifications and implementing the data mining needs ranging from a Mock up over a Test Case to industrialisation
