What will you do?
As a business requirement analyst within the Product Management Team, you are literally the link between the Product Manager and IT. You are responsible for capturing the business requirements from the market and translating them into what the customer or business needs so that a solution can be worked out in terms of offering, service and/or process. You will also help distribute this solution to the organisation.
For this, you must be able to switch continuously between business knowledge on the one hand and the technological side of the story on the other. This is what makes the role so challenging and also complex.
Together with the product manager, you help to draw up business cases by defining problems or opportunities and analysing solution alternatives for their feasibility within the business unit.
You identify the business stakeholders and map out the business requirements together with them.
You describe the as is situation and map the to be processes. You map the to-be situation onto the global process landscape and ensure that this situation meets the requirements of the business stakeholders and the external customer.
You provide support and give feedback to IT partners to follow up the implementations and ensure that the implementations are sufficiently end-to-end and in line with business expectations.
You describe the acceptance criteria and test scenarios, perform tests and support the business in the acceptance tests.
You participate in the roll-out by preparing content documentation, preparing training courses or possibly also giving them.

Where will you work?
Acerta is one of the market leaders within the HR industry in Belgium.
Traditionally, they are known for payroll administration, but over time this has actually really become an innovative technology company.
This is because the services provided by them need to be very user – oriented.
Users of Acerta’s services can be companies, HR managers, but also employees of Acerta’s customers. Those products (often softwares or apps in the context of hard HR) are developed for all relevant stakeholders. Everyone should be able and want to work with them.
Their headquarters is in Leuven, next to the railway station. Very flexible organisation (home work policy is flexible). They have 1,500 employees but the structure is very flat, not hierarchical. Family culture anyway, despite large company. Very nice organisation to work for.
