How can I change my e-mail address?

You can change you e-mail address in “my profile” in the menu on the top right corner.

How can I delete my account?

If you would like to delete your account, you can do this in “my profile” in the menu on the top right corner.

How can I activate my access code?

You can use your access code during sign-up or you can use it in the platform when you click on “use access code” in the menu on the top right corner.

What are the different payment options?

You can pay either with an access code or with Bancontact.

Where can I obtain an access code?

You can obtain an access code via our university partners or student associations that we work with. So please contact your university to check if they already work with us.

How long does a purchased course remain visible?

Your purchased course will remain visible as long as your profile is activated. If there are fundamental changes to a course or the information became irrelevant, myCareerCompanion can decide to delete a course.

Which courses are available?

You can check all our courses when you’ve finished myCareerCompass. You can find courses that guide you through the whole application process (e.g. CV, LinkedIn, job interviews) and courses that teach you some extra skills (e.g. presentation skills, networking)

Can I use multiple access codes?

Yes, you can use as many access codes as you want. You can use it by clicking “use access code” in the menu on the top right corner. Ofcourse, the access code will only unlock the matching course(s), if this course was already purchased or unlocked, this access code will not longer work.


Do I need to fill in all the questionnaires in myCareerCompass?

You can choose which questionnaire you want to fill in and when. Just be aware that our algorithms, to discover your possible jobs and company cultures, only work when you have filled in all the questionnaires.

Can I download my results?

Yes, you can have a pdf version of your results with all the explanations. You can click on the download sign in the right top corner of your myCareerCompass and your file starts downloading.

What is the logical order to fill out myCareerCompass

You can fill in myCareerCompass in the order that you want. If you want some guidance, we suggest to start on top with your generic competences. You can work your way down to explore what type of jobs would suit you. Afterwards you can do the right side and discover your matching company culture. If you’re done, you’re ready to explore myCourses and of course the labour market!

Do I need to fill in myCareerCompass all at once?

No, you don't need to do it all at once. We want to make sure that you can fill in myCareerCompanion when you feel like doing it. You can catch up at any time where you left off, even when you left in the middle of a specific questionnaire.

Can I retake a test?

Yes, you can retake a test if you want to, we will always save your last answers.


Can myCareerCompanion help me with personal career coaching?

Yes, we can help you with personal career coaching. In the section “myCourses” there is an option to arrange a personal coaching interview with one of our talent coaches. Just push that button and we're looking forward to meeting you in person!

Can myCareerCompanion help me to get concrete job opportunities?

Yes, we can help you with concrete job opportunities. When you register at myCareerCompanion, you fill in your profile settings and there you can tick the option that you want to be contacted by partners of myCareerCompanion. These partners can contact you with concrete job opportunities. No worries, this will only happen if you tick that option, they will not contact you if you don't want them to.

How much does myCareerCompanion cost?

We have some good news, myCareerCompanion offers quite a lot of free services. For example, all our questionnaires in myCareerCompass are for free. If you want to follow some courses or get extra insights, then we offer you the option to just pay for what you exactly want.

How does myCareerCompanion work?

We have 3 building blocks: 1. Get to know yourself: How well do you know yourself? What sparks your interest? Which working environments do you identify with? Based on five questionnaires, you’ll learn about your strengths, interests and job preferences. Our scientifically validated algorithm translates your results into possible job functions and company cultures that naturally fit your profile. All nicely made visible in your myCareerCompass section. 2. Learn and build your brand: How do you write a convincing CV? How can social networks, such as LinkedIn, help build your professional career? And how to prepare for that dreaded first job interview? These are some examples of our courses that you can find at the myCourses section of your myCareerCompanion account. 3. Get introduced: And it gets even better. You can even choose to be contacted by our partner Crossbridge, who will match your profile with concrete job opportunities and introduce you to your future employer.

Who can use myCareerCompanion?

myCareerCompanion can be used by last year students and by employees during their whole career. We have different journeys for youngsters who are still studying as well as for people with experience. When you’re still a student or when you just graduated and have no experience yet, just fill in your study. When you already have gained some experience, fill in your work experience and you will be guided to the right track automatically.
